Donations and Legacies

Leaving a gift is a genuine way of showing your appreciation to the Charities and will help us to support others. Making a Will is your guarantee that your wishes will be carried out. Anyone can make a Will, or update an existing Will. We recommend you use the services of a solicitor for this.
There are different types of gift you can leave and the following are the most common:
Pecuniary Legacy: This is a set sum of money which can be left to either individuals or charities.
Residuary Legacy: This is what is left of your estate once all other monies have been paid out.
Specific Legacy: This is a particular item or specific property that you can leave to an individual or charity.
Alternatively, if you would prefer to make a gift now, it would be gratefully received. In addition, if you are a tax payer, you can request a Gift Aid form to complete in order for us to reclaim the tax you have paid on the value of your donation.
